Special Mission: Memorial Service for Sgt Daniel Suplee. National Guard soldier who died in August of wounds received in Afghanistan. A memorial stone will be installed in his honor at the Worcester County (MD) Veterans Memorial in Ocean Pines, MD on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.
The PGR (also present at the ANC funeral for Sgt. Suplee) has been asked to participate in this memorial.
Rallying point will be:
Harley Davidson Shop of Ocean City
10716 OCEAN GATEWAY
BERLIN, MD 21811
Rallying time between 11:30 and noon.
Kickstands up at 12:45
15 minute ride to Veterans Memorial;
Ride Captains set up rallying points accordingly.
Please bring your 3x5 flags.

All right guys and gals. I have once again proven that insufficient caffeine levels cause mistakes to happen. So in honor of my newly installed coffee I V , here is the corrected staging times for the Suplee memorial.
The service starts at 1:00pm.....not 11:30.
RC's, please stage your groups to arrive between 11:30 & Noon at the Harley shop in Berlin.
We will be kickstand up at 12:30 for the 10 minute ride to the Worcester County Veterans Memorial to be in place for the beginning of the ceremony.
Please bring youre 3x5 flags.

It will be an honor to be there on Saturday to pay tribute to Sgt. Suplee and to thank him and his family for his ultimate sacrifice. I spent some time visiting the Veterans' Memorial this summer and was quite impressed by it. Here is a link to the Memorial's website if anyone wants more information on it: www.opvets.com

Forecast is for rain tomorrow, so those wanting to come in cages, still meet at Ocean City Harley Davidson between 11:30am and 12:15pm where we will stage for the short ride over to the Worcester County Veterans Memorial. We will try to consolodate those coming in cars as not to crowd the parking area of the memorial. Please call me if you have any questions.

| Thank you for those who came out to honor the memory of SFC Danny Suplee. It was a true celebration of a life well lived and cut short too soon. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the Suplee family. |
