My thoughts and prayers are with the Craver's at this difficult time. Johnny was good man, and his wife is such a sweetheart. I'm here if you need anything Natalie.

My husband went through IOBC (Infantry Officer Basic Course) with Johnny. They were very good friends. I met him a couple of times, but I knew his wife Natalie a little better. It was nice to know someone from back home when we lived in GA, as I am from the DFW area. We are stationed down at Ft. Hood, and will be attending the funeral. I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing this. When I first heard of the PGR, I cried. As an Army wife you can't know what it means to see other people who care enough to honor these fallen soldiers in the way that you all do. You truly are Patriots and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Very Sincerely,
An Army wife @ Ft. Hood

To those of you who were on the escort mission for Lt. Craver this afternoon, you may have noticed that BluHog didn't quite make it all the way to McKinney with the rest of you.  He pulled over just outside of Dallas with a broken clutch cable, but he was able to slow down and stop safely along the shoulder of 75 with lots of room.  As of 5:50 pm this evening he was in transit, in a tow truck with BluHog loaded on, headed to the HD dealership in Allen.  The dealer is open until 7:00 tonight so hopefully there was still a mechanic on duty when they got there.   I haven't heard from him since, so I'm going on the premise no news is good news.  I (or he) will post once he gets home.

The ride from DFW Airport to McKinney (I-635 to US 75) through rush hour traffic could not have been accomplished without the assistance of the Denton County Sheriff's Officers blocking traffic for us. They did an outstanding job of keeping us out of harms way.

The family was extremely greatful to the Patriot Guard for providing the escort detail with such dignity and honor.

Thanks to all of the members who participated in the Escort Mission today for 2nd Lt. Craver. The count was thirty-eight bikes and three cages.

38 bikes and 3 cages....once again, a very respectable turnout for such a short notice.  Patriot Guard is awesome!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Mark aka BluHog is home.  The BluHog is still at the HD dealer in Allen as there wasn't enough time to get the clutch cable done before they closed (no OT, I guess!).  We'll make a run up there in the AM to pick it up, will be home in plenty of time for the meet and greet.

My prayers to the Craver family.
