My sincerest condolences to the Craver family. May the Great Spirit comfort you in your time of sorrow and healing. Standing by pending work schedule and final details.

Rest easy Lt. Craver, your watch is relieved. We have the watch.

Thank you, 2nd Lt. Johnny K. Craver for your service to this Nation. To the family of this American Hero, We grieve with you in the lost of one of our Nation’s best. His adherence to “Duty to God and Country” will not be forgotten. Death is a time to rejoice in the life someone had and the lives they touched on this earth. Life is but a blink of an eye. May the Great Architect take this Hero and his family into his council, bless and heal them.

You don't have to love war, but you do have to love the Warrior!

The sound of 200 people holding flags -- is deafening.

Just tell me where to go, show me where to stand. One more flag in the line.

President Lincoln speaks better than I:

Executive Mansion, Washington, November 21, 1864.

Mrs. Bixby, Boston, Massachusetts:
DEAR MADAM: I have been shown in the files of the War Department a statement of the Adjutant-General of Massachusetts that you are the mother of five sons who have died gloriously on the field of battle. I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering to you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

Yours very sincerely and respectfully,

Abraham Lincoln

My heart breaks for your loss for our freedom. Remember that you are not alone in this dark chapter in your life. When you feel the weight is too much to handle, remember that there are 60,000 brothers and sisters waiting, willing, and able to shoulder the load with you. May God hold you close to his breast and comfort you during your time of mourning.

Rest now 2LT Craver, we now have the watch.

Brothers and Sisters,
As always, prayers and wishes for consolation, for God's mercy and healing go to the family and their soldier.
Take care of this soldier for those of us who should be there, but cannot.
This one hits home in a very big way. My mother was raised in McKinney and raised my brother and me in Denton. There is just no way for me to get out there this time.
May God bless Lieutenant Johnny Craver, his family, and the rest of those who love him.
