Attending SPC's funeral and supporting the Lucas family and friends is the very least we can do for him in return for what he's done for us.  He's purchased our freedom with his life.  We appreciate him, honor him and respect him.  We are at the ready to do whatever we can to give back something to your family whenever, wherever.

We will never forget SPC Lucas's sacrifice and we will never forget yours.  Thank you for raising a son who made a difference to the world.

You're right on with your name.  Indeed, you are AHEROSMOM.

AHEROSMOM, You have mail.  I must have verbal confirmation from you or the Casualty Assistance Officer to issue a Confirmed Mission of Respect.

We are so glad you have visited our web site, and as you can see, we are coming (after a phone call I'm sorry to say).

You have already felt our love for your son, you, and your family, we are thankful for the honorable opportunity to show you in person, how we feel.  The weather or conditions won't stop us, ever.  We are there for you.

You no doubt are very proud of your son, as you should be, but this day, you will see how proud America is of our Hero too.

Lebanon Ohio standing by to honor this AMERICAN HERO!

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any words of mine that would attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot reframe from tendering to you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our heavenly father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid down so costly a sacrifice upon the alter of freedom.
Yours very sincerely and respectfully,
Abraham Lincoln
