I have four 3x5 flags with poles - just have to figure out how to attach to cage - they are free. Also, PGR store has flags and stickers, etc, along with Wal mart. I am not suggesting that anybody has to buy anything. If you want to be part of the dedication, come to staging area and join in by holding flag during ceremony. Then you can watch or ride with someone in parade. We welcome all and please be there to honor all of our fallen vets from all wars.

| What is the decision re; the healing field flags (641+21) are we setting them up around the entire square. That should fill the town square up with Hero's flags. Plus what the riders bring. I will be coming up the night before so I can be there to help set up healing field Flags. |

The Town Square is small with one building in the middle, surrounded by trees, shrubs, concrete and mortar - very little grass. If there is a way too anchor the flags otherwise, we can do so. If not, we'll let the folks present hold them proudly. Another note, please allow extra time to get to staging area as there will be blocked off streets, lots of traffic and quite a bit of road construction going on in the area. Most importantly, be careful and ride safe

You can count on me I will be riding with my Mama in her cage!!! For those of you who do not know my Mama is Allsthrnlady. Then again you may not want the two of us together. Just kidding. But, unfotunately I do not have a flag, nor will my mother have stickers for her vehicle. Therefore, we will be unable to ride in the pararde. You may not want me to stand without one, if that is the case I will be on the sidelines standing proud.
It is a privilege to stand for those who have fallen for me and my country. |

Allthrnslady/Thevoice,
Thanks for offering to bring coffee. I will definitely partake.
I noticed in your earlier posts that you don't have flags or a PG sticker for your cage, so won't ride in the parade. Well, have I got a deal for you! I have one of the triangular blue and gold Patriot Guard Riders stickers you can have until you can order your own. I have one on my Gold Wing, and being an ex-parachutist, I always want to have a reserve! So I'll let you have my spare one to put on your vehicle. You can replace it when you order your own. Since we're all here in NW Arkansas, I'm sure we'll run into each other again.

Trip,
Appreciate and accept your kind offer if I don't get the PGR signs ordered in on time and will be glad to replace it with another if I need to use it. Thank you so much.
You're welcome in regards to the coffee, just hope 4 thermoses are enough. Would bring more, but that's all the containers we have. Tried to find something at Walmart that would hold hot beverages like those large water containers, but couldn't find anything. Hope other's offer to bring coffee as well, I think we'll need more.

At this time I can't promise anything but if there is any way I can cover the cost I will try very hard to make to the Dedication on Nov. 4, 06. As it is, right now, my wife and I will be passing througth Fayatteville this comming Sat. morning with a short stop over to visit my father, Maj. Bobby D. Rains, Ret., Deceased, and his second wife, Bobbie D. Baker, Deceased, who are intured at the Fayatteville National Cemetary. I try to at least stop there each time I pass through. As I said, we will be passing through on our way to visit relatives in Hot Springs and then on to the coast for a short vacation. I may try to stop for another short vist on our way home, Sunday, Oct. the 29th. Long story short, I have strong ties to the Fayettville area and Arkansas in general. I was born in Paris, Ark. If I should be able to make it for the Dedication I will contact this site again. or if not, I will make contact anyway. Sorry, I don't have a bike any more, and can't ride one due to back and leg problems. However, if I get to come down I will be caging it. I have a U.S. Flag and a P.O.W. Flag that I fly. I am a realitvely new member but have had the honor to attend several missions, so far. Hope to see and meet everyong soon. Untill then "Ride safe and may the Road Angle's watch over each and everyone of you. LRRains (Tailgunner) |
