Thank you very much for escorting my nephew Santos Armijo (Bear) from the airport to the funeral home on Wednesday.  Words can not express the gratiude we have for such a kind deed.  It was such a beautiful sight to see you ride up with the American Flags in honor of a fallen solider.  We heard you coming a mile away.  Santos will be missed deeply.  It helps for not only family and friends to show their support, but complete strangers supporting us with the loss of a loved one.  There is not a day that goes by that a tear is not shed for Santos.  May he watch over us and may all our brothers and sisters come home safely to their loved ones.

God Bless!

To Michelle & Gilbert Mancilla,

It was our honor to show our respects to your nephew, "Bear" Armijo on his escort home from the airport and his services today. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for our Freedom and he deserves much more than anyone can give to honor him for that gift. He will not be forgotten.

Ride Report:
Spc Santos R. Armijo,
Mission Accomplished
We staged at the church in downtown Phoenix. The entrance was lined with American Flags and there was no doubt an American Hero was being honored. Visitation lasted an hour followed by Catholic Services and Mass.
I spoke with Mrs Armijo during visitation, this Mom…what an incredible Mom. This family showed such strength and love I was deeply humbled in the presence.
After the services we were honored to escort Santos and his Family to the cemetery. The American Flag flanked by the Army flag led. Santos followed. The Gold Star flag flew in front of the family cars. The honor flags of Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, MIA/POW and Patriot Guard followed. 41 bikes with flags blowing in the wind and 5 PGR cages were followed by three miles of mourners. People stopped on the road to honor this soldier, an unexpected site in a city this large.
The graveside services were beautiful. Of course Taps..it still makes the heart beat faster and the tears roll. The doves were released, and we all stood watching as they flew off then somehow found each other again and flew off together. A soul filled wish; someday, somehow.

Pat Eagan, Buzz, All the guys who stepped up to help the escorts…Heart felt thanks!
Harold…thanks for bringing the morning muffins!
I now have a megaphone too…no more no voice after missions! Thank you Janell!
Patriot Guard Riders…as always, Warriors on the Homefront. THANK YOU!

Mr. and Mrs. Armijo and your beautiful family. We THANK YOU, and were honored to escort your family of HEROES. Always you will be in our hearts, always!
