It is with a heavy heart that I pass on these condolences to you and your family. I know that these words won’t bring your loved one back, but be assured, they will not be forgotten. Our brothers & sisters-at-arms will continue the good fight until we bring all our people home. My prayers are with you during this time of loss.

I send my prayers to the Santos family. It is with deepest regret that I am not there to assist in recognizing and bringing home a fellow soldier. I am awaiting surgery in Ft Knox, KY for injury sustained while training and preparing to go to war. I salute the friends and family of SPC Santos and I thank all the members of the Patriot Guard for bringing this fine soldier home, with honor.

I'm going on the escort. I sort of understand where the meeting place is.  Somewhere on 24th street next to an overflow parking lot, and a phoenix police sub station. Guess I'll just cruise around that area untill I see some patriot riders. Kind of hoping for a last minute posting of something official.

I would like to support the movement as an escort and am trying to make it possible, my tag no. Is "ATNIP". At my age I have do as much as I can to remember things, so it is easier to have my last name as the tag so I know which bike to get on. I would a staging location and time to meet. Please advise. Thanks.

Here is what I've heard for the escort: get off the I-10 at the main airport exit, 24th street was mentioned (I'm not sure if we're to go onto 24th), go towards the main terminal, look for a "speed enforcement" sign, there should be a police substation on the left and an overflow parking lot on the right. Pull into the overflow parking lot. Stage at 1730, KSU shortly thereafter. SPC Armijo is due to arrive at 1810.

I'll be early. Everyone ride safe.

Slopoke is correct. I had held off on posting this info, knowing security would be an issue. But, Phoenix Fire and PD will be on the tarmack and at this time PGR may not be on the tarmack, but pick the ride up after Santos is off the plane. So...no further need for security issues.

Ride Safe...remember people are a little insane at the airport at times...and remember YOU are the Patriot Guard, and your State Captain is always in awe of all that you do!!!

Coming from the West on I-10 take exit 149 (Sky Harbor) take the perimeter road into the airport. Watch the overhead signs. The police sub-station is across from the STAGE AND GO lot. Unless they have another sub-station I don't know about this is where we will form up. I'll be at the QT on Dysart at I-10 at 1600. Tom
