Snap my Brother, Chip just pinged me last night. I have no idea what any of the particuliars are. But I work for Delta and will do everything I can to help with this. Waiting for Chip to get back with me to see what needs to be done. Read through all these post and saw something about escorting from Peachtree City. I also live 5 minutes from Peachtree City. So whatever you need on this end, all you have to do is contact me. Don't know if you are flying into Falcon Field? You want an escort from Atlanta Airport if goiing there, just let me know. It appears I am off work the whole week of this event, so I'm at your beckoning.

Oh by the way, YES, count me in.

I just posted on Southern Cruiser's South Atlanta website. Several of the riders are PGR members. I'll notify USMVMC and Leathernecks as well. I also know a fantastic lady that works at a local bike dealership that has I think pretty much email contacts to all riding chapters in metro Atl. I'll get this information to her.

Count me in from Grayson GA.

I'm sure that there will be a discussion about this very special mission at the dedication of the new National Cemetery in Canton GA on 4 June. This will be an outpouring of spirit few will ever experience. I just "thought" the welcome home missions filled me with the pride of being an American. Bringing a boy home to his dad fills my eyes now.

My family will follow in the cage. We would not miss this for anything.

As a newbie to PGR I've been going thru all of the threads while sitting at this truckstop somewhere in New York. It has amazed me to no end some of the stories I've read but in all of MY hardened years never has a story brought me to tears as this one. This is one run I will HAVE to make work to be on. I made a ride from Springfield, Mo. 7 April to Woodstock,Ga. for my sisters wedding (683 miles in 12 hours) and thought I was to old when I got home 2 days later, (heck, I AM to old) BUT to reunite a father and his son, 700+ miles ain't nuttin. I WILL need a wheelbarrow and someone to pry my tired old butt off of my bike and a pile of rocks to sleep on but count me in. Thats one (1) more old dude from Springfield,Mo. Waiting for the mission brief to to set up time off from work.

Darn, I wish I knew she was here at Carson.  I would have been glad to lend a hand with moving, packing, whatever.  My wife and I are dual-military so we know how to pack!

Best wishes and prayers for her and family.  GA's just too far for us to go for this mission, but we'll be praying for a safe escort.  Daddy and son, reunited to rest together until the glorious Last Day, when we can all meet those that it has been our priviledge to honor.  Once again, I cried at this thread.

Check's on the way.

Snap,
Don't know how I managed to miss this thread but just saw it this morning and, providing my dear ol' doc hasn't scheduled back surgery before this mission date,  I would consider it a tremendous privilege to help honor this true American/Canadian hero's final wishes.  I will know more on June 16th but, for now anyway, count me in on 2 wheels.  I'll work ou t the logistics later.
For all you, and everyone else, have done to bring this mission to fruition I offer you a simple salute.  You should be very proud of your efforts and accomplishments.  I hope to be able to shake your hand in person on 4 Aug.
