POSSIBLE MISSION FOR GEORGIA
UPDATE
MISSION IS A NO GO!!!!!!!!!
AFTER NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS AND RACKING MY BRAIN, THERE ARE TOO MANY RESTRICTIONS FOR US TO ATTEMPT THIS MISSION. TIME AND REGULATIONS WIL NOT ALLOW US TO DO LIKE WE WOULD LIKE TO DO.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRAVEL TO THE AIRPORT AND WELCOME THESE SOLIDERS, PLEASE DO SO. ONE OF OUR MEMBERS IS GOING TO BE THERE FOR HIS SON AND WILL RIDE ONTO GILLEM. IF YOU WANT TO RIDE ON BASE, PLEASE LOOK AT THE WEBSITE FOR RULES FOR BIKES ON BASE.
ATTENTION GA:
Please be on alert of a short notice mission at Hartsfield International Airport to welcome home soliders from the 221st mi bat. and help transfer them to Fort Gillem for a short celebration.
Details are being made as we speak......Update Wednesday around lunchtime.
One of own members, Gene Bachman, has an injured son in this group of hero's. He is an injured solider on crutches. He did alot of the begining legwork for the contacts and I am going to finalize this tomorrow.
Please sound off if you can attend and watch for details.
As of now, flight lands around 1200 hrs with cereony at Gillem at 1400 hrs
THURSDAY 1200 hrs at Hartsfield...transfer to Ft Gillem for short ceremony.....
Again, this is not CONFIRMED yet.......watch for updates
