==============================

When a mans heart is full of deceit it burns up, dies and a dark shadow falls over his soul. From the ashes of a once great man has risen a curse, a wrong that must be righted. We look to the skies for a vindicator, someone to strike fear into the black hearts of the same men who created him. The battle between good and evil has begun. Against an army of shadows comes the Dark Warrior, the purveyor of good, with a voice of silence and a mission of justice. - Steve "Sting" Borden

I want to express my condolences to the family of Norman Davis. I would love to hear his story! If only more Americans had a pinch of this man's patriotism at such a young age. It's going to be my honor to ride with respect for this Patriot! Rest in peace Norman, and may God watch over your family in this time of sorrow.

I will be acting as Ride Captain for this mission. It is my deepest honor to be allowed to escort this Patriot to his final resting place.

To the Davis family, please accept my condolences. I too would like to hear about his exploits, his adventures, and his life in general. Patriotism is not rare, but it is rarely demonstrated. May God embrace him, and bless you all.

Thank you Sir for your service to our country. You will never be forgotten.

I Remember You

When I walk into my church,
free and without fear,
I remember you.

When I see children playing in the school yard,
girls and boys of all kinds,
I remember you.

When I see families working together,
regardless of religion or nationality,
I remember you.

When I go to sleep
without worry for my family's safety,
I remember you.

When I see our flag waving in front of my home,
and when I can salute that flag without fear of reprisal,
I remember you.

When I remember you,
I think of the sacrifices you made so I could have these things.
I think of your commitment and your service
beyond mere duty.
I think of all that you have given
so that I and those whom I love can be free.

When I pray at night and give thanks
for the blessings God has given,
I remember you.

Mission Complete

We had seven bikes and one cage participate today in this memorial to a very unique and genuine American.

We staged at the Funeral home in Indian Head, Maryland, at 1000hrs. Rain threatened, but never fell upon us.

We were very fortunate to be able to meet many members of this mans family. They expressed a deep appreciation for our being there. To this I say that it was truly an honor for me, and I am sure for my fellow riders as well, to have been given the opportunity to pay our respects.

At 1200hrs, we lined up behind the family vehicles and proceeded to travel 21 miles through the beautiful, tree lined roads of southern Maryland. We arrived at the Cemetery and set up a flag line along the path that the family and Mr. Davis' coffin would travel.

We provided honors to the family as they left the Chapel, and I gave Mrs. Davis our condolences.

I wish to thank Rich, John, Scott, Del, Richard, Carolyn, Bob, and Brian, for being there today, especially as we had less than 24 hours for this mission. You are why the PGR is so special, you are all very special people.

Brian, after what happened to you this morning, most people would have just turned around and gone home. But you made it and rode with us to honor this man's service. I am very impressed, and very thankful.

Rest in peace Norman, you are home.
