DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who
was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. David J. Ramsey, 27, of Tacoma, Wash., was medically evacuated
from Iraq on Aug. 24 and died from a non-combat related incident on Sept.
7 in Spanaway, Wash.Ramsey was assigned to the 47th Combat Support
Hospital, 62nd Medical Brigade, Fort Lewis, Wash.

This incident is under investigation.

There are no words to express the sorrow we feel at the loss of another American Hero, but to you who are friends and loved ones of Spc. Ramsey I hope your sorrow will be somewhat less because of the support you recieve of the hearts of all Patriot Guard riders. Spc. Ramsey is a Hero and will not be forgotten

My condolences to the Ramsey family.

This hero will not be forgotten.

Please forward my condolences to the family, and if they have any photos and info on our hero  that I can ad to his tribute page to please send them to me..   It is my mission to help people remember who this hero is.

I have been informed that Spc. Ramsey's services and interment were held last Thursday, before the DoD announcement was issued. Obviously we will not be attending!

Thanks to all those who were standing by, and thanks to Spc Ramsey and his family for their amazing sacrifice.
