Please read below for details, but a local Carolinian is returning home on 19Sep06 after a tour of duty. I would ask anyone local to come and join us in welcoming home one of our sisters. I will forward information as I get it.

I can think of no better way to spend a lunch break,

This is a forwarded message for our local HOG Chapter here in South Carolina, Director: Matthew Buckner.

Hope things are going well. You may not know but one of our members; Master Sergeant Cynthia Holt returns home from her tour of duty on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 1:30PM. She will be flying into the Charleston International Airport. Many of us are planning on getting together at 12:30PM at Low Country Harley Davidson to ride over to the airport to welcome her home as a surprise. I am currenlty in talks with the Charleston County Aviation Authority to allow us to pull up in line at the airport verses having to find parking spaces and will send out a confirmation on that as soon as I receive it. If you would like to meet us to ride over and welcome back one of our own and thank her for her service to our Nation and to us then plan on meeting at the time above. We will leave LCHD no later than 1:00PM to head to the airport. If you have flags please bring them. If you have any questions please let Barbara or I know. If you are planning on attending please reply so we can get a count for the airport.

Welcome Home, and Gods speed. I knew a C. Holt at Ft. McLellan, Alabama, in 1978 Bravo Company, 12 MP trng Battalion.

Sometimes when one has fallen, never to ride again...
You can hear the others calling, like thunder on the wind.
Side by side, they slowly ride, and their thunder is a mournful sound...
And the mirrors hide their eyes from us, when teardrops fall to ground.
