I have just been notified that we have been requested to provide escort for the Michigan Guard units transfer to the Indianapolis Airport. I believe this to be the same unit that we escorted down from MI.

I do not have a specific time yet. I will post updates as I get them.

Our escort is a sign of respect and honor to these troops before they are sent to Iraq. Let's let them know how much we care.

I would be proud to help escort the Guard Unit if schedule permits.

Sarge I would be honored to be a part of this escort. I took them from Michigan to Atterbury and I told them I would be damn proud to bring each one of them home when they got back

Sarge, I'll be there. You know that one soldier is going to be looking for "that bike" he got to ride around the truck stop parking lot! LOL! I can't let him down, or any of the others either, for that matter. Looking forward to it.

NOW HEAR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The date has changed for the escort. It will now be OCT 1st, late afternoon, that's on a Sunday.  I hope this shift doesn't prevent anyone's participation.  I will find out a specific time as the event gets closer.

Thanks,

Sarge

I should be able to make this mission. Also, being on a Sunday, my significant other should be ther as well. Maybe even her 14 year old daughter, who has been on several missions already. i think she has learned what Honor and patriotism are all about.

I'm beginning to think this is really Monday. This is my 3rd attempt to post this so will make it short and sweet. Maybe that will make the difference.

No news yet for the time of day.

Staging will be posted soon with the time to remain fluid.

I will not be able to make this mission, a new ride catain will be posted soon.

Thanks for your patience,

Sarge

I will be Ride Captain for this special mission.  As of now, I know it will be Sunday, October 1st, sometime in the afternoon.  We will stage at Manns Harley Davidson, at the Edinburgh Outlet Mall at I-65 and Exit 76A (Taylorsville).  I will let you know the time as soon as I hear from them.
