My condolences to the entire Bowling family on the loss of their loved one. SSG Bowling (Retired) protected and preserved the American way of life and for that I am extremely grateful. It is my honor to serve as the ride captain to pay my respect to an American Hero. It is my prayer that God will provide the family with the strength to make it through all the grief and loss of their loved one.

I am standing by to ride for SSG Bowling with honor and respect.

The VFW Post and funeral home are both located on Hwy 210 just outside Spring Lake. Coming from Spring Lake both are located on the right side of Hwy 210 shortly after passing the new WalMart store. There is a sandwich board on Hwy 210 for the VFW post. The family is arriving at the chapel at approximately 1045, so it is the plan to be in place not later than 1030 and establish the gantlet of flags. The ride from the funeral home to the cemetary is approximately 5 miles and there will be LEO escort. Rain is predicted for today so you may want to come prepared for a wet ride. I plan to be at the staging area by 0830. Thank you in advance to everyone who has responded to this very short notice mission - your sacrifices will not be un-noticed by the family and friends of Nolan Bowling.

Ride safe.
