Riders need to be at Security HQ at 1130 hours tomorrow morning.

| Ok, cool. Most excellent. Hang a sharp left when you come up to the terminals, you'll end up right down by the tower. Same place as we were for the Zeigler mission. |

Fellow riders, Ssgt. Fuga is home. Both Pam and I were able to make the escort ride today. I wish I could say that it went off without any problems on my part, but I am a good soldier (airman) and followed directions a little too well. The Independence Motorcycle Police force was there to lead the escort and they did an outstanding job as was to be expected. There were 2 news stations there today so it may be possible to see the events. I believe it was both Channel 41 and the Action News Station (NBC) Pam did a great job getting us back into the midst of the action and I thank her for that. I look forward to seeing you all during the visitation and service the next day. My understanding from the Funeral Director, is they expect over 1000 people at the visitation.
Again, Welcome Home Ssgt. Fuga.

Has anyone decided on a staging area or will that information be available at the visitation on Wed.
Once again a brother has fallen, and once again i am reminded of a time long ago when many of our lives were out there among the walking wounded, or KIA. May the blessings of many Honor and befall these few in need....... |

As I mourn the loss of yet another of our Patriots, I curse my work schedule which keeps me from the whole mission.
I will be there on Wednesday for the visitation and in spirit for the rest of this mission.

There is a Westlake hardware store across the street from William Chrisman HS that has a large open parking lot. That might be a good place to stage. If there is a large number of riders it would be quite simple to get across the street to the school without interrupting the flow of traffic.

| I haven't talked to Mike, of Hub Cycle, but if you are still looking for a staging area, that would be a fairly large lot, one block west of Noland Road, on 24 highway, and could possibly provide restrooms. I will make the furnal mission, and possibly the visitation. Thanks, Wheel Officer for the "Heads Up". |

I'd bet that Hub would be willing to help out. They're good people - the lot is a bit hilly, and having been on other missions, it might be a little smallish??

*** Itinerary Update ***
This is a Confirmed Mission. The Fuga family has requested the PGR.
Visitation:
Wednesday Sep 27th 5:00pm to 9:00 pm William Chrisman High School 1223 N Noland Rd Independence Mo
Take Noland Rd North from I-70
Services:
10:00 am Thursday Sep 28th

Staging:
0730 am Thursday Sep 28th - pre ride briefing: 0815 American Legion Hall Post 21 16701 E. US Highway 40 Independence MO
Map of Directions to ALH
I'm presently working on an escort from the Hall to St. Mary's.
It's starting to turn cool in the mornings, and warm in the afternoons. This time of year, any type of weather is possible. Please plan your daybags accordingly (riders). Please bring necessary items (covered extensively) if you can, to provide assistance on the road, or away from the Flag Line (4-wheelers).
Everyone is welcome, regardless of mode of travel, dress, or group affiliation. All we ask is that you honor our Mission Statement, the American Hero, and the community. Smoking, eating, etc. is discouraged in the Flag Line. Small talk is permissable in the Flag Line, as long as proper respect and military bearing are maintained. Please find an SC or an RC to request a relief person in order to attend to personal activities.
Various RC's, Ride Leaders, etc are encouraged to coordinate riding groups in your immediate area to facilitate trouble-free arrivals at the staging area.
Any first-time Mission Riders with any questions or concerns are encouraged to contact an SC or an RC for resolution.
Again, thank you members, for what you do.
