Speaking on behalf of family and friends of my father Cpl. Charles Wilson, our heartfelt thanks to all those willing to take time off from your busy schedules to ride and guard my father tomorrow and also to all those sending condolences and prayers . He would have been so proud as well as all of us in what you do. Words can not express the overwhelming gratitude felt here.

I had never heard of the Patriot Guard until reading a friend's (mrron) blog on 360 recently, while reading this my heart spilled over with pride in him and people like you whom escort and guard family and friends from disturbance from protestors.

Thank you Ron for your help in whom to contact and being a good friend. Thank you to Jim Cobb and Fred Nelson for your work and efforts in getting the guards together and to all of you for your part in all of this. It is wonderful to know there are people like you all willing to take time away from work, family and obligations to see that those whom have served our country receives the last respects they deserve.

I look forward to meeting you all.....GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU SAFE ON YOUR TRIP TOMORROW AND ALWAYS.

Thanks to PGR my father's funeral turned out to be a beautiful send off. Your presence and honor shown to my father was overwhelming. It's hard to describe the pride and emotions seeing all of you with flags waving while standing guard and escorting my Daddy to his final resting place. Words alone can't show the gratitude and appreciation felt here today. Daddy would have been so proud.

While going down the line in shaking your hands and thanking each of you, there was one PGR that stated he had fought in Korea. This poor man knew and saw the same horror and bloodshed my father witnessed that none of us can imagine while serving and protecting our country. Wish I had asked his name, but hopefully he will read this so that I can tell him how proud I am of him and thank him for the sacrifices while putting his life on the line he and Daddy shared so that each of us can enjoy our country as it is today. I also see by comments some of you have made here, that you have fought in wars as well. I salute and thank you all and PGR with all my heart. God Bless each and everyone of you.

Just a note to say how proud of you guys I am. Fred Good Job of your leading your first mission, It's not as easy as it looks. Kind of like pushing rope. The jerk that found my bike and backed over it the day before the ride, and drove off, God will get you for that. My condolences to the Family Mr. Charles Wilson, American Hero God Bless you for your sacrifice and his. We live in a better country for what he has done. Your words here strike a chord in all our hearts and as a collective we are a little less today than yesterday for the loss of another fine Soldier. My daddy, US ARMY RET> used to say the "OLD SOLDIERS NEVER DIE, THEY JUST FADE INTO HISTORY" are words to understand because they are true. The things he fought for are the things we live with every day his accomplishments surround us all the time. The master will call his name on the pages of the book of life and we will meet at the final muster. God Bless you for inviting the Patriot Guard and God Bless The Guard for their sacrifices.
God Bless America Land of the FREE.
