My thoughts and condolences go out to the Shank family on the loss of their son. Although distance will keep me from this mission, my prayers go out to this brave Wolfhound and fellow Tropic Lightning solider.

Permit me to convey my heartfelt condolences to Jeremy's family.  Jeremy, take your earned place among the heros that made this country what it is.  Your brothers and sisters who grieve for you at this time know that you are with the Father.  It is He who has called you to fulfill His mission as you have bravely fulfilled your earthly mission.  We thank you for your duty and your sacrifice.  God bless you and your family and friends in this time of sorrow.

Please Change the Thread to Say CPL Jeremy Shank. We promoted this fine young man and wish we were there to protect his family during this tragic time. Our mission remains fixed and we are resolute in our actions. The loss of one of our own has only served to strengthen our stand. Question--Does anyone know if there is a secure place to park my vehicle and trailer around the Funeral Home. I will try to make the Funeral Mission, but that is a fair amount of miles for this old guy, round trip, from where I live in Ill.,so I think it's better for me to trailer the scoot.
Thanks for any suggestions.

NOFEAR 06 is correct.  The Casualty Assistance Officer wanted to confirm Corporal Jeremy Shank's promotion before we posted it.  I'm meeting with him and the funeral director this morning and will contact PGR central in a couple hours to make it official and order his placque.  Be aware, as soon as we get DOD's transport schedule from Dover we will be organizing an escort to and from St. Louis.  At that time we can build an itinerary and staging directions.

Thanks everyone.

The Winder family would like to send our condolences to the friends and family of Cpl. Jeremy Shank. We would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom from those that don't understand our way of life. You were, you are now, and you always will be an American Hero to my family and also the PGR family. To the family, you are in our thoughts and prayers, and no matter what we say we can not remove the pain of losing a loved one but hopefully knowing that the PGR is by your side will help ease the pain. Waiting for final itinerary should be able to be there to honor this hero. Out in St Charles.
