My thoughts and prayers with you and your family during this still difficult time.  I can not think of a better way to give them their final ride.  I will try to be there from Des Moines.  There is a gas/food stop called the Coffee Cup righht at the exit for Vermillian (spell) just off of I29.  Plenty of room for the bikes to form up.  The Coffee Cup is approx 30 min from Yankton.

A fitting final tribute to an American Hero of a quickly fading generation. This man contributed so much not only in his military service but in life as well.

Best wishes to all and have a safe ride.

My father is a WWII Vet and fortunately is still with us. I have always fully intended in asking for the PGR's support when it comes his time to "go home." So, there is no way I can say no to this effort. Sounds like George had a wonderful life as described above, but regardless, he will be missed by his loved ones. God bless them and George for the patriotism and heroism he has displayed during his lifetime so that we may continue to watch our flag fly so freely overhead. Standing by in Plattsmouth for more details... and Mark, if you need any help... or otherwise... you know where to find me! You and Tommy and all did a great job in Orange City...

Let me know the details @ 402-981-2452. The wife and I would be proud to escort your uncle. My father is also a WWII vet and is 80 now. I cherish every day he's around as it seems most of his contemporaries are no longer with us.

STAND DOWN - MISSION CANCELED

I Just talked with AL, his Uncles family DOES NOT wish to include the PGR. They want to keep it a private family service. The SD Ride Capt will make sure the proper notices go out.
