UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE - UPDATE
There have been several changes to this mission for Barney Ross SHANE Goodman.
The PGR is going to honor the families request that the services be kept simple. They truly appreciate the PGR's efforts in their Son and Brother's behalf and have asked that the PGR support the Internment Service at the cemetery only. There will be no procession from the funeral home. Details follow:
STAGING: 1330 - 1400, KSU 1415 for the cemetery.
PGR staging will be at the San Jacinto Mall. Take the GARTH ROAD EXIT #792 going east on I-10. Proceed to the driveway just prior to CHILI'S on the right side of the eastbound service road. This comes up quick so watch for traffic. The parking lot fronts on the service road.
Note: For those of you coming from the north I noticed that there were no toll booths on Beltway 8 from Lake Houston Parkway to I-10 Eastbound. I think the same holds true from I-45 but am not certain.)
INTERNMENT SERVICE: 1500 In The Pavilion
MEMORY GARDEN CEMETERY, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown TX.
Please bring all your flags for the service. Large Flag Bikes stage separately.
Thank you for honoring another Fallen Veteran Brother and his Family in their sorrow.
"Standing Tall & Silent In Their Service!"

I only wish that they find the creeps who did this and punish them beyond words in prison. I also wish that I could be at home to ride for this but cant as I still have 16 days left on the boat. I would be proud to be a part of this Mission in any way. My Heart goes out to the Family and friends of Mr. Goodman and know he will shown the Honor and respect due him. Kelly |

TO THE FAMILY OF, Barney Goodman, I have been sitting here for over 30 minutes thinking of the right words to write. After reading this mission report I was.... ( First, in shock ) .... ( Second, stunned in horror ).... ...( Third, in raged beyond description ) I cannot even comprehend the gut wrenching loss of this family must be feeling. I have no words good enough or honorable enough to further express myself. I am so very sorry.

| After careful thought, and several phone calls, and changing of all my plans that I made last month, I will attend. This one has hit me hard. I am angered that with all that Mr. Goodman had been thru, that the last thing he had to take with him was hate and greed. I have to be there to stand tall with my brothers and sisters so he can look down, and know that he was loved, but will never be forgotten. It will be an honor to pay respects to this fine man! |

Initially, I didn't think I'd be able to make this one, but one class was cancelled, work can be shifted, and I can bail out early if necessary to make my last class.
I will be there.
