The military has just requested PGR presence at this heros funeral in Wilton, the Major I spoke with believes protestors will be present.

I am requesting this thread be moved to confirmed missions and will post mission specific details just as soon as I have them.

OK...here it is.

Services are tomorrow, Sept 12,2006 at 1000hrs at 229 Danbury road in Wilton.

PGR will be staging 0830 - 0900hrs in a commuter parking lot at the intersections of Rt7 and Rt106.

Both the military and police escorts will be at OUR staging point.  LEO will escort us to the services

Again the military has stressed to me they believe protestors will be present.  I will be at the staging area at 0830hrs sharp.

PLEASE BRING YOUR FLAGS!!!

Riders coming from the North ..
From the Merritt Parkway (RT 15)....
Take the RT 33 exit and go north...
At the intersection of Rt 33 & RT 7 look towrds the left...
The commuter lot is there...

Riders coming from the South.
Take RT 7 North and when you get to the intersection of RT 7 & RT 33
Look to the left...

I'll be leaving the 711 beside Lowes on Rte112 & LIE exit 64 at 06:00hrs for the ride west via LIE / Throgs Neck to meeting point at Rte 7N & Rte 33 for 08:30 meet.
Anyone heading from Eastern LI are welcome to join in along the way.

My condolences to the Madaras family.

This hero will not be forgotten.

Please forward my condolences to the family, and if they have any photos and info on our hero  that I can ad to his tribute page to please send them to me..   It is my mission to help people remember who this hero is.

I never knew Pfc. Nicholas A. Madaras, but judging by the magnificent turn out today to show support for his family by his friends and fellow military companions I can see that he touched so many lives in many wonderful ways.
