***AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY THIS WILL BE A PRIVATE SERVICE.***

I received the following email today.

"Thanks for keeping an eye out. His body just arrived in Dover last night, and we held the memorial service yesterday with no show from protestors. Part of his family's religion is to hold the service 3 days following death so all is done except for the private service and that won't be made public except to our fire department.

Thanks again.
Dave
"

We will honor this request.

All of the PGR members in Pennsylvania and elsewhere send our most sincere condolences to SPC Smith's family, firends, and community on the loss of this great person.
Thank you SPC Smith for your sacrifice.  I bid your family peace and healing...

Standing down........
