Alright Ladies & Gentlemen this mission is a go.
Please make contact with all fellow members you can and let's make this a massive turnout.
Rally point is the Carl's Jr. at the Crossroads Pkwy exit off the 60 fwy, just east of the 605.
Meeting @ 10am, KSU @ 10:15. Services have been announced to be held at the Sky Rose Chapel at Rose Hills Cemetary.
RingLord will not be able to make this one but Angel will have some flags available. I'd ask that all possible bring their flags in the event of a large turnout.
It's forecasted to be cooling off tomorrow but it will still be hot. Dress accordingly and please stay hydrated.
Chances are great that services will be up on a hill. After the graveside service we will coast our bikes, ignitions off, down the hill so as not to disturb the remaining mourners.
We will return to the Carl's Jr. afterwards for those who want to have lunch before returning to work or home.
Angel: Thanks for the offer but my son is back in school and will not be able to attend this one.
For any questions I can be contacted 24/7 on my cell @ 562-756-5603.
Let's turnout in mass numbers for this brave American Hero!

15 Fwy to 60 West. Heading west on the 60, Crossroads Pkwy is the last exit before the 605 Fwy.
Heading west on the 60 you will exit and cross over the fwy to the south side.

Hi all. Tomorrow will be my first ride with PGR. We will be coming from Glendora and leaving the house at 8:45. What's the normal dress for these rides and I've seen people mention flags. Do we need to bring one? I have a small USA flag, but not a PGR flag. Any info for the little newbie will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Mindy, I am fairly new as well but can safely say, come as you are. When you show up in the morning, it will look just like any other weekend ride you've been on. There are usually a few people in cages with flags and stuff but if you have a small flag on your bike that is great too. Most of us wear black when we ride so it doesn't require a change of clothing to attend something of this nature. Remember...the families are just happy that we are there and that we care. See you in the morning.

Glad to have you join us Mindi. Dress as you normally would for a ride. Just keep the mid- day sun in mind. Something lightweight under a jacket that you could shed should work well.
No possibly offensive images or wording please.
Just remember we are there to honor this fallen Hero and he, his family and friends deserve our showing of respect.
U.S. Flags, 3'x5' is the norm but any size will do.
We will walk you through the mission steps beforehand. Not a really a lot to learn. It's almost certain that you guys will not be the only newbies. It will bring out strong emotions and feelings of patriotism that you will never forget. You will be glad you came.
I will be at the Carl's by 9:30 so just track me down when you get there if you have any other questions or concerns. You will do fine.
Look forward to meeting you and seeing our other brother and sister PGR members tomorrow.

I just got back to work from attending the services and funeral of Sgt.
David J. Almazan. Another fine job by the Patriot Guard. I
counted 50 bikes, and the event went off without any problems- great
job in the organization by the ride leaders.
God bless Sgt. David J. Almazan and his family and friends-

Great Mission Everyone!
We had approximately 43 bikes + 1 cage and around 50 PGR in attendance. Some from the south and the Poway and Camp Pendleton areas to the high desert and Bakersfield and everywhere in between.
It was a warm late summer day but all stood tall and gave this brave Hero a proper send off.
The Heroe's widow asked me to convey her thanks for our presence today as well as for all the warm wishes and condolences she and the family received via this website.
Personally I would like to thank all the newbies (7) who made today so special by their attendance. As for the old guard it was good to see you all as well and I look forward to the day when we meet at PGR reunions hopefully in the near future instead of these funerals for our active fighting men and women.
Good showing So Cal PGR!
My hat's off to you and a heartful thanks to all in attendance.
Ride safe and May God Bless America.
Respectfully submitted,
Primo Ride Captain, Whittier, CA.
