The service at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier CA will be held at 11:00, 9/7. The address is 3888 Workman Mill Road. Staging will be at Carls Jr Restaurant

Pre mission briefing will be at 10:00, kickstands up at 10:15. Primo will be your RC. I will be out of town, but my thoughts will be with you & the Almazan family. Ride safe.

The Patriot Guard has been invited to the services. The family is planning a Thursday funeral service at Rose Hills Funeral Home in Whittier CA. The address is 3888 Workman Mill Road. Start time is still to be determined. Final info/RC will be posted as I get it.

DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was
supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Sgt. David J. Almazan, 27, of Van Nuys, Calif.,died on Aug 27, in Hit, Iraq,
of injuries suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his
HMMWV during combat operations. Almazan was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 36th
Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Friedberg,
Germany.

This hero will not be forgotten.
