Made it home safe and sound, with the knowledge that that PGR was there for the family of Sgt Benson and proud that I was a part of it. Thumbs up to Doug for doing a great job on short notice.

Ride safe people.

You did a great job on this one.  There was a lot of miles between the funeral home and the graveyard and you made it all happen.  You lead the next one and I'll support you as I have supported all the others.  You got heart and smarts, brother.

Thanks Doug(and Tony) for pulling this mission together with 24 hrs notice. Thanks to all PGR's who were able to make the trek.
I made it back to Myrtle in 6 hours from Engelhard, NC. and arrived at 10:30pm. Tired, and hungry.

Cuda and Earl, ya'll were right. What I shoulda done is gone back to 95 and come in 87 through Fayetteville. oh well, hindsight is 20/20. shoulda coulda woulda......

God bless each of you.

I wanted to ride this mission but just could not make it happen.  I'm so glad to hear of the turnout for Sgt Benson.

My hat's off to North Carolina for pulling a mission together on short notice to honor a soldier and provide some level of comfort and encouragement to his family.

We had an excellent turn out on such short notice. Even with the long miles and long hours there were no complaints and the honor to ride for this soldier was tremendous. The job done as RC by earldapearl was great. I'll ride with this Captain anytime.

Great job Doug

The day was long, it started way before dawn and ended way after dusk but it was truely an honor to ride for Sgt Benson. Again, my condolences to his family and friends.

I hope everyone made it home safely.

We had a great turnout considering the short notice. We arrived at the staging area number 1 and had seven bikes escort the family from the Benson home to the church.

Staging area 2 we had eightenn bikes and two cages. We had a briefing and Imcruzin2 read a very nice bio of Sgt bensons life and military status,he was a highly respected man. I reviewed the ride iteneary and we proceeded to church.

Upon arrival at the church Dynalowgirl arrived with the condolece book and we recieved the family and freinds. after the service was underway and doors closed we took 18 bikes and two cages to cemetary (after a brief stop for directions)  and setup the flags there. We recieved the family there and the service went flawlessly.

We did get get kudos from the 2 star general which was  present and great respect from all the military present.

Dynalowgirl and myself presented the condolence book to Tracy Benson and we stood down.

Mission Complete and thanks to all who contributed to a wonderful showing of respect and honor .

We had 25 bikes and three cages well done brothers and sisters .

GOD Bless you all
