Street address for starting point - Shermans Creek Inn - for anyone wanting to use internet map services:
Shermans Creek Inn 5150 Spring Rd. (Rte. 34) Shermans Dale, PA 17090
So far it's me & maybe West Virginia Joe, and maybe Empress Paula, too?
Still working on a street address for the ending point, Free Spirit Campground, so people can map their way home. Will post if I can come up with one.

Hey there MSGMP. Lookin' forward to meeting you. I'll have the PGR windshield banner on the '06 Triumph America. So you're a Perry County guy, eh? Born & raised there? Lived there for about 20 years before I headed west.
Mike of the Leathernecks MC says the ride is a go, for now. Still watching the weather forecast ... if it's under a 50% chance of rain, we'll go & get wet if we get wet. Right now it's at 60%, so we'll see. Please keep an eye on this topic. I'll post as soon as we get any word one way or the other from Mike. The forecast has been doing a lot of changing the past few days. Hopefully it'll go under 50%.
See ya there. Joe

Ah ... an '07 Road King, eh? Love to see it, haven't seen one yet. I know what you mean about Perry County, it's excellent. I'm in a place that's similar in a lot of ways ... hills, mountains, woods & streams. No big rivers, though. They're all the size of Perry County creeks ... till you get out to Pittsburgh. I don't get back over there much any more, which is why I'm really looking forward to this ride.
Unfortunately, I can't make the Walter Reed visit. Wanted to, but the work's too piled up. Have a great ride!

It's a GO. Rain is supposed to stop mid-morning, and if it doesn't, we ride anyway.
Gas station is 3/4 of a mile north of the Sherman's Creek Inn (starting point) along Rte. 34 on the left-hand side (biker-owned gas station BTW).
Ride on. Joe |

My brother & fellow PGR said that this was a pretty big event ... about 200 bikes in all and a great ride through the country. It appears that a good contribution was raised towards the community center building that will be dedicated to the memory of Pfc. Jason Frye.
Thank you to everyone who participated. Joe |
