Rest in Peace Marine.  My condolences to your family and freinds.

Here is a link to a Stars and Stipes article that quotes CPL Pierson.  Reading this you will also learn of the US Flag flying delema our troops are faced with while serving "over there".   Something we are able to take for granted here, thanks to great American's like Jordan....

My condolences to the family of Cpl Pierson, his friends and fellow Marines. Keep those flags waving for this true American hero. I pray that his "Americantology" ideas will not wither away. We have no idea what freedoms we have until we no longer have them. We will never forget our fallen warriors. Cpl Pierson will be waving all the American flags he wants to in heaven...God Bless
