My deepest sympathies to the Thorne family.  This one is really hard to take.  I used to work with this kid, as well as his mother and his uncle is one of my best friends.  He was one of the nicest people you could ever meet.  Rest in peace Willy.  You are my hero!

Standing ready in Sioux Center.

Was extremely saddened to find the loss of another Iowa defender. My heart goes out to the family and friiends and wife of Pfc Thorne. The small towns across this great nation are the heart of this nation, and have been giving their best for it's defense.

May God give you His peace and strength. Honor can only be earned. Rest well, brother. Standing by in Nebraska.
