PFC. William E. Thorne's wife (Corey) was a guest at our monthy GWRRA meeting Tuesday August 22nd. She was accompained by her parents who are members of our chapter. Corey was home on a 10 day leave from active duty in Iraq. She was gracious enough to visit with us about conditions in Iraq and mentioned several times her concern for her husbands safety. She missed him very much as she hadn't seen him since February, and was not scheduled to see him until November.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of PFC. William E. Thorne. We mourn with them in their loss of a loved one. He rests now in the hands of God but his sacrifice will not be forgotten. May God bless each of you and encourage you during this time.
