Sorry it's taken me a bit to give my thanks, but things have been kinda crazy around here. First I would like to thank the family for allowing us to ride for Marshall. I would also like to thank all the riders that were able to make it, especially since we didn't know it was a go until the last minute. Thanks to Del for letting us help out. It meant a lot to me. Thanks to Casey's in Falls City for donating ice and thanks to everyone who donated water. Thanks to the guys that stayed in town a bit longer to help take the flags down from the courthouse and that helped me unload the flags out of the back of my truck. Last, but certainly not least, thanks for letting my daughter be a part of this mission. She was just the "water girl" but you all made her feel like she was important to the mission itself. It's been two days and people are still thanking us for what we did for Mr. Maddox, people I don't know are coming up to me to thank me.
This was a touching ride for me because it happened in my home town. There weren't very many people in Falls City that knew what PGR was until that day. I'm glad that we were able to show them that we aren't just a bunch of hell-raising bikers. I'm glad they got to see that we do have hearts and that we will gladly stand with pride for our heroes. It was awesome that we got to be the ones that opened their eyes...it's just sad that it took us showing up in town to ride for the fallen for them to see what and who we really are. Thank you all for helping me show my home town what we are really made of.
THANK YOU MARSHALL FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE FOR THIS COMMUNITY AND OUR COUNTRY!
