SPECIAL MISSION

LATE NOTICE

Ret Viet Nam veteran Mr. Marshall Maddox and Mayor of Falls City Nebraska has passed away, and the Patriot Guard has been requested to attend his service if possible. He was a highly decorated Vet, and deserves the utmost respect that can be given to him and his family.

His Funeral will be MONDAY August 28, and 2:30 P.M. and will be held at the Prichard Auditorium In Falls City Nebraska.

This request comes from Col. Thomas Brewer of the Pentagon in Washington DC. He has previously served with this gentleman, and thinks highly of the PGR, that is why he is asking for help from us to grant the families wishes.

I will not personally be able to attend due to job commitment, so Arch Angel who is one of our members and lives in Falls City is going to set up the ride, and coordinate the funeral. This will be his first time for doing this that I know of , so he needs some help here. If you can be of assistance to him, or can let him know if your going to be there, I know he will appreciate it. You can contact Del at 1-402-883-2760, or His E-mail at DelC@sentco.net

Please, if at all possible, plan to attend, and pay our respects to this gentleman, in the tradition of the PGR---“To Do The Right Thing”

Thank You,

Cliff Leach

Our hearts go out to the family during this time.  He was a highly respected man.  I have only heard wonderful things about Marshall.

Mike may be able to attend the ride, work allowing.

Along with aj_junky (Corrin), we are offering our house for those who plan on attending Maddox & Cole rides.  We have room for tents, a few in the house & showers for anyone who needs it.  We are located on the edge of Hiawatha.

To the Family and Friends of Mr. Maddox,

My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I am sorry that work makes me unavailable for Spc. Cole or Retired Viet Nam veteran Mr. Marshall Maddox on Monday and Tuesday. I will be there in spirit as nothing makes me prouder than to serve in honor of those who have served to make our country a better place.

I will continue to watch for the Escort Mission Ride.

Thank you to all the families who have opened their homes for us as we travel to these missions. When the evil continue to make us stronger, we have been successful.

I served with "Mad" Maddox in the Nebraska Army National Guard and he is top notch. Though I cannot leave my work to ride, my heart rides with his soul and with others who hit the pavement. God bless Maddox.

Depending on the time I will try to be there. This will be my first ride; I am active duty myself and would be honored to serve those who served. Marshall Maddox part in ensuring our freedom should not go unanswered. The mission the Patriot Guard has taken on makes it an honor to ride and serve. I will be looking for Marshall Maddox updates and for future missions so I can serve those who served for my freedom I have today.

I proudly served with Marshall while in the Nebraska Army National Guard.  He was a leader, a patriot and above all a soldier's soldier.  Your work here is done Marshall, may you rest in peace.  May God bless the family of Marshall Maddox during this time of sorrow.  I will be proud to ride the last mile with my fellow Viet Nam Veteran and Patriot.  GOD Bless America.

My husband and I also live in Falls City. We will have a truck there (at the auditorium) with bottled water for all the riders.  My husband and I have to work that morning, but we will be at the staging area around 1 pm. If you want to come down the night before you are welcome to stay here, and/or if you want to stick around for the other PGR ride in Hiawatha on Tuesday you can stay here Monday night as well.
Thanks for the offer.
