Just received email from Trish Autry. Her son Ryan was wounded (lower arm amputee, minor brain disruption) a while back. She and I met playing poker on line and became friends. They live in the area and I know she will be attending to ride with us. Not sure how many more she's bringing. Not sure if Ryan is able to be there from work, but if I know Trish, she'll definitly pass the word to locals.

I already asked her to have anyone interested read ourt mission statement and if they agree to it they are welcome. If they fell they can not then I asked them to please seperate from us and not tarnish our proud and honored name.

Now for some medical stuff--- Every one riding in, I need your help. Last week in Memphis we ran out of water. So I need every one to bring 2-4 bottles of water. Now I know some won't but those that do, will greatly help. I'll have about 100 bottles and 8 gallons of the magical green stuff. I think we'll call it the PGR punch.

I do not want any "toughing it out" if it's hot and you are getting achy in the head and neck, I want you inside cooling off. That's not negotiable, if I tell you to go inside and you don't, my little frame will carry you in. I have duct tape. LOL

To everyone enroute to honor our fallen Marine, Ride Safe and I look forward to seeing you in the morning.

Doc, thanks for bring the PGR punch!  It works great!

Several have called or e-mailed with questions, I am glad I am able to answer those or find out what you might need.

If you are coming in I24E you will be taking exit 81A toward Shelbyville, it is about 1.4 miles down on the right for our staging area.  I24W you will turn left on S Church St, and it's about 1.4-1.5 miles down on your right.

I plan on being there as early as possible, shooting from around 0700, so if you have any problems or questions while enroute, please call me.

Remember, regardless of 'who' may show up, our mission is the same:  To honor and show respect to this fallen Marine and his family.

Lcpl James Hirlston,
We are coming to show your family we care. Hirlston family and friends, You will witness tomorrow a simple act. We do it out of respect for you and your loss and for James. We shall flood the ground with our tears as well. We feel the pain, the loss and we thank you for allowing us top openly grieve with you. We ride with respect and in honor of James. A simple act, yet one with so much behind it, I will be honored to meet you and hear the stories of this Marine.

All Marines and Navy Corpsmen, I have a special detail for us should we be needed to perform it. I will discuss it with the ride captain upon arrival and get her OK. It will only be in case we need to provide cover for incoming.

Hope we can all remember the words to FROM THE HALLS OF MONTEZUMA. Please be prepared to sing it loud should we find ourselves in a position that requires us to use our drill field voices.
