This is the final Itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor Lance CPL. James D. Hirlston who gave all on August 23, 2006.  It is a go; all contacts have been made.  
 
Visitation services are on Wednesday August 30, 2006 from 1000 hrs through 2000 hrs
at Murfreesboro Funeral Home, 145 Innsbrooke, Murfreesboro, TN; 
 
 Burial services are on Thursday, August 31, 2006; 0900 hrs at Murfreesboro Funeral Home, 145 Innsbrooke, Murfreesboro, TN; Cemetery is: Rose Lawn Memorial Garden, 5315 New Nashville Hwy., Murfreesboro, TN.
 
Ride Captain:
Your Lead Ride Captain for this mission is Annette Robeck (Dreamcatcher), who can be reached on her cell at (615) 974-3046.
 
Weather: The current weather forecast for Murfreesboro, TN on Thursday, 8/31/06 is Mostly Sunny with a high of 83 degrees; low of 67 degrees; with a no listed chance of rain.  Bring flag poles & flags if you've got them; flags on bikes would be great. If you're not on your bike, cars are welcome, bring all the extra flags you've got, and water!
 
Staging Site & Time: 8/31/06 From 0745 hrs to 0830 hrs at Kroger's Parking lot, close to the Starbucks, at 2946 S Church St., Murfreesboro, TN. . Departure: The departure time from the staging area to the Murfreesboro Funeral Home is 0830 hrs. The funeral home is across from the parking area, we will be lining up on the street in front of the funeral home, more info will be given at the meeting before KSU.
 
Please remember that our mission is to respect and honor this fallen soldier and his family. Stand tall and proud as we salute this hero and his family for their great sacrifice!!! Please remember to leave any personal agenda/disagreements at home, WE are here to show Respect and Honor to our fallen Hero and his Family.

DoD Identifies Marine Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lance Cpl. James D. Hirlston, 21, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., died Aug. 23 while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

My sincere condolences to the Hirlston Family. So sorry to read of your loss, I pray God will comfort your family and family friends during this time.
I've read two very touching  media stories about Lance Cpl.  James D. ( " J.D.") Hirlston, he was dedicated to all he did. J.D. was dedicated to the Lord, his family, the United States of America. He gave his life protecting what he loved.
God bless you J.D. for what you have done for each of us.

I have contacted the Marine CACO. I am waiting for a return call. I will post as I learn the family wishes.
