BikerBride will be there (with 8-year-old) in cage.  I'll be bringing cold water, Gatorade (it can get HOT in El Paso!), and raisins and peanuts for quick snacks.  BikerKnight might be able to cut loose from work and be there too.

Since I'll be in the cage with my boy, I can carry extra things for folks if needed.  See you at the KFC at 0800.

My prayers and thoughts are with SFC Villa and family.
Looks like I can't make it either since I can't leave Alamogordo until noon.  I will check back and hopefully be there to support families in the future.

Always a sad day when one of our country's defenders has fallen,
Always a happy day when we remember those brave enough to give all and those that did, true Patriotism!
We constantly remind them that they will not be forgotten, and they never will. SFC Ruben thanks to you and men like you, we are FREE.

For all Defenders of this Nation, many roads they have traveled, the least we can do is make certain their last journey on this land they protected,is not alone!

I wish to express my apologies to the Villa family and my PGR brothers and sisters for not being at the service to Honor SFC Villa in person. After riding 30 miles in the driving rain and seeing the lightning storm around and over El Paso, I returned home as I have a healthy respect for lightning when exposed on a motorcycle in the rain. However my continued prayers are with the Villa falily in their time of sorrow. Thank you SFC Ruben Villa for you service and sacrifice for your country.

A Ride Captain is only as good as the people in the ride.
Had a great crew this trip (although that seems the norm) and some real dedication....Bill4241 making the trip down from the Duke City thanks...lucky the storms were to your East.  Rocketman on such short notice....watch the web site closer...LOL  Wishbone2  you would make a great lightning rod, but remember those are sold in stores and dont come with 2 wheels.  BikerBride for the van loaded with goodies and a place to store the flags on the way to the cemetary made things much smoother.
The mission went smooth with one tv interview and the reporter was good enough to ask why PGR started, than dropped all reference to the Ks crowd in the final report.
I believe rocketman may have some photos to download to the site.

Once again thanks to all that rode and those that tried.
