| Thank you all. It was such an honor to ride with you all again. I received a phone call this morning from a dear friend that read the article in the paper about the protesters he was furious but figured I was there. He offered a heart felt thank you to all of us and I relalized that the PGR also touches the lives of the regular citizen that can not be there but feels the way that we do. Just to let you all know that what you are doing touches more lives than you might realize. |

| My wife works with the best friend of Cpl. Galvez. He asked that we pass on his sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone. What a wonderful group you all are and I am proud to be a new associate of all of you. May his family receive some solace in the compassion shown yesterday. |

It was an honor to support you guys again (this is my 2nd ride - I drove the green Ford Taurus). I especially want to thank Ride Captain Bruce Clements (oldgoldstar) and State Captain Craig Larsen (Sportster) for leading us. I also want to thank the two guys that brought the drinks, the very tall driver of the silver pick-up truck and the driver of the blue Durango (sorry I'm not the best at remembering names), and the ladies that brought cookies and sandwiches. Look forward to supporting you all again on this next mission.

| Honor and pride are once again the two feelings that I get to take with me as we complete another mission together. Thanx to all, and especially Bruce. I know there's no way I could have been able to organize this send off for Adam on the short notice that Bruce seems to get. |

These are the times that try mens souls. The 'summer soldier' and the 'sunshine patriot' will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.

I don't think any demonstrator would want to mess with Marines, especially when they brought their LAVs with them!
Awesome ride report! |

It was a warm, slightly muggy day by Utah standards, as the staging area began to fill up with motorcycles and cages. Many were already there when I arrived earley myself. I was awestruck by the sight of that many motorcycles already present, and as I dismounted and watched them continue rolling in I couldn't help tearing up a little to see that kind of outpouring of support and honor for Cpl. Adam A. Galvez.
To see the group begin to blossum as flags were mounted and unflurled, was truly a wonderous sight. The attention given by all as the final instructions were given was also impressive. The Patriot Guard was joined by Brothers and Sisters from several groups, Bikers for Christ, CMA, American Legion Riders from Nevada (here for their national convention), Viet Nam Veterans MC, and others who seeing the news of this Mission felt it important for them to be there with us. There was posted information on the website of those who shall not be mentioned, that this was going to be a picketed funeral. Everyone was very happy they were not there even though we were looking forward to putting them in their place as only the Patriot Guard can do.
With the assistance of Murray Police Department, and the Motorsquad from the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office, the entourage from the Calvary Chapel to the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, about 25 miles south, went smoothly with traffic control at intersections being done by PGR and participating groups as needed. The Memorial Park was guarded from intruders by two Marine LAV's and with the number of people that attended the services, there was no room for demonstrators. The skies were darker, and one could see rain falling all around us, but nary a drop fell on this special moment in time.
Adam's Mother and Father were so gracious it was sincerely humbling and inspiring to be in their presence. Members from two Marine units were present for ceremonial duties and there are none quite so impressive as theirs. All that was said and done at the gravesite served to remind everyone that Adam and all those Fallen Heroes gone before him are doing the right thing and that we must never forget the price of freedom is sometimes very high, and those that pay the price must always be remembered, honored and respected.
There can be no doubt that being present today to honor and respect Adam A. Galvez, Corporal, United States Marine Corp, nourished the souls and lifted the spirits of all present.
Rest in Peace, Adam. Thank you for your service, courage and sacrifice. You will not be forgotten. SEMPER FI!
