Well I have one that is 120V I am not sure the wattage, but mine got lost when I moved a year ago. They are pretty generic, usually they plug into a car lighter - or many SUV's have them direct wired to the electrical system. I will have my car at the church and my battery is good enough to handle a few hours of powering the cooler.

Also, Michelle is looking for one at her house too - she is a lot more organized than I she may come through.

We will survive without one, but cold water is better than air temp on a 85° day.

What a great day to honor a hero.

The ride up to Denver from Colorado Springs was quicker than we thought it would be (leaving 15 minutes early made all the difference as far as Denver rush hour traffic goes).  Met up with Grumpy and the Denver contingent and headed up to Cheyenne.  There we met up with Matt and some of the Wyoming riders; Matt said that other riders had already proceeded to the church.

I definitely got a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye when we arrived at the church and saw the crowd that had already assembled, with flags lining two sides of the building.  We parked, picked up our flags, and joined the line.

What also brought a tear to my eye was whenever I looked up and down the street and saw all of the people stopped on the sidewalks watching us.  Whether they were just walking along or came out of their workplaces I don't know, but there definitely were quite a few of them while we were at the church.  It was humbling to have them come over and thank us for what we were doing for Pfc Arellano's family.  Some even picked up a flag and joined us; my heartfelt thanks to each of them for taking the time out of their day to help us honor Pfc Arellano.

At the cemetery, I stood next to a woman who had driven through the night from Salt Lake City to be with us.  She doesn't even belong to the PGR, but she grew up in Cheyenne, and when her father told her that there might be protestors there, she said she had to come and help.  I wish  I had gotten your name; thank you, and we'll see you at Maj. Morgan's service next week in Colorado Springs.

To the family of Pfc Arellano, my deepest sympathy for your loss.  The sheer size of the funeral procession was a testament to how much James was loved by his family and friends.  Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us the privelege to honor him.

I would personally like to thank each and every one of you who came today to honor James, the entire family was so touched that you were there. You showed honor and respect for our fallen hero which will never be forgotten. I'm having a hard time typing this cause I just can't find the words to show how much we appreciated what you did today. This family thanks you, this community thanks you and your country thanks you. GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU

Thanks to all who stood with the Patriot Guard in honor of PFC Arellano. I was genuinely touched several times throughout the day by the show of patriotism and respect given to this young warrior and his family.

On the way to the cemetary I was amazed by the number of people who stood roadside to pay their respects to the family and honor a fallen soldier. I've never seen a ceremony, sports contest or other public event where the flag is flown that garnishes the respect and honor given it today, draped over a casket or waved with gratitude for all it symbolizes. I pray that everyone whom this young warrior represented can pause for a brief moment and give thanks for the ultimate sacrifice he made in working to secure freedoms we take for granted.

Safe and secure back in Lander. Semper Fi.

Folks, I posted a Ride Report on that forum.  I hope I didn't miss anything.  If nothing else, it's long.  I just want to thank all of you that came and helped out for this hero, both today and last Friday.  You done good.  I am already getting emails from people asking for more info on the PGR.  I wish I had another product to sell that would go over as good as you folks represented the PGR and Pfc Arellano.  You folks are what made today very special for people.  To see folks stop and stare at the unquestionable respect you were showing for Pfc Arellano and his family made them all kinda glaze over.  You folks are the people that keep pride in America at it's utmost.

Again, a heartfelt Thanks to all of you!!  I'd ride with any of you anyday.

Had to work today, but was able to drive past St Mary’s Cathedral around 0930 and I was at a loss of words & somehow something got in my eyes and made em water.

Again we were lucky enough to be outside the hospital and able to watch the procession. It was amazing & once again that pesky dust made the eyes water.

Got to go wipe that dust out of the eyes again..................................

Safe at home and a short nap, thank you all today for your efforts. "The right thing to do" once again was the order of the day!

Jay, I goofed, I for some silly reason (I had been up for a day and a half) thought you were from WY and I left your adapter with Matt. I think that he is coming to CO for the Major Morgan mission next Thurs. if something happens I will replace it. I really appreciate you came through for me and I failed you in return.

It was so nice seeing all of you again, meeting the new faces and especially the many proxy Marine hugs I stole mingling with the many heroes attending todays services.

My many thanks to all of you who were able to attend. The Patriot Guard Riders have left a very positive mark on the hearts of people from Wyoming.

Special thanks to the ride Captains from Colorado that attended and helped out with getting us "green-horns" from Wyoming up to speed. Always know that we have your backs, thanks for having ours.

Thanks goes out to Matt for a well executed and well organized mission, and to my fellow ride captains from Wyoming who did an awesome job, and to those of you who stepped up and helped out.

God bless you all for what you do!!

I want to echo the sentiments so many have already stated above. I was amazed and proud of how much attention we got from the public. It obviously wasn't 'I wonder what is happening' attention, but people who knew what was happening and were also showing their respect. I also have to say that I was brought to tears when the family shook my hand and told me thanks in front of the church. I am so humbled and honored and be able to attend and be there for them in their time of loss and extreme grief, and they are thanking me. It really is an effort to keep my composure.

Thank you Grumpy, Bram, and Bob for safe rides to and from, and a huge thanks to the Wyoming PGR and the people of Cheyenne for making us feel so welcome. As a good friend of mine said to me earlier today, there are no borders when it comes to the PGR, and it was an honor to be able to go up to Wyoming. I hope everybody made it home safe and dry, and it was great standing with all my new friends. Brad

I too was amazed and awed at the turn-out, and deeply humbled by the family, walking by and thanking us for what we did.  They thanked us, when we all wanted to THANK THEM.  To thank them for their courage and for their sacrifice, to keep this great country strong.  As the only Nebraska representative there, I want to say, I am not NE PGR, not WY PGR, not CO PGR, I AM PGR, PERIOD.  Do any of you know where to find the link to the news clip?  I missed it, and I want to show it to Linda.  Thank You

They are working for me but not as hyperlinks - and the ... part is not part of the link so cut and paste and see if that works for you

If it still doesn't work I googled cheyenne newspaper, then select news / story archive / and search for Arellano there are basically 3 stories about him, his services and the preparations for them.

I keep thinking the pride I felt as I was handing out water. One woman came with all her tiny day care children to help. those little angels sat on the curb in front of the church holding tiny flags.

I sure hope those kiddies are able to remember what they saw yesterday - so much more respectful than what I saw at their age in 1967!!!

Pfc James J. Arellano has fulfilled his dream of service and offered up the ultimate sacrifice.  He was layed to rest today with the full military honors that he earned and deserved.

His story is one that would make the 'toughest' person well up.  The newspapers around Wyoming ran stories on this fine young man and did so with the utmost respect towards him and his family.

He journeyed back to Cheyenne from Denver Colorado last Friday.  Upon a last minute notification, several Colorado PGR members gathered to escort him back home.  Fighting weather heading North, the riders relinquished their tour to the Wyoming PGR members staged to meet the procession further up the road.  He made it back to Cheyenne with honor.  The family was amazed at the fortitude of those who traveled with him as long as they could.  With worry for the riders caught in a major storm, they were again amazed upon discovering another group waiting to take up the escort duty and take him into Cheyenne.

Today was his service.  A day that had a bit of a gray cloud hanging over it with the possibility of others attending the service that were not invited guests of the family.  Upon a request from the local Law Enforcement agency in Cheyenne, many riders showed up early to post at St. Mary's Cathedral.  Most of these were members from across Wyoming.  It doesn't stop here.  Another group from our neighbors to the south, Colorado, were on their way to show their respect.  The looks on peoples faces when they once again witnessed a group of motorcyclists flying flags and PGR banners making their way thru town was a look of awe and amazement.  This brought the early morning total to 52 motorcycles and 6 cages, and, more kept showing up.  A great turn out for our 2nd mission.

People in the area took time out of their busy work days to come witness the awe inspiring gesture of respect the PGR was putting forth for this hero and his family.  The street was lined with flags and people from all over here for one reason, Pfc Arellano.  The public, upon witnessing this, began making offers to help hold flags so that they too could show their respect for this young hero.  At one point, flag holders numbered 140.

During the service, a group of the riders and a few cages, traveled out to Memorial Gardens to line the final journey of Pfc Arellano with flags and respect.  The remainder of riders and flag holders awaited James and his family at the church and continued the escort of this hero to his final resting place.  Count at the graveside service was 58 bikes, 6 cages, and 103 flag bearers.

Family and friends, military members, and even other government officials were in awe of the respect shown to a hero that most did not know, but yet, offered up the utmost respect for.  Thanks were given to all who participated by everyone who was witness to these proceedings.

My personal thanks goes out to all who participated.  To the Wyoming members, to the Colorado members, and to the LEO agencies that provided so much assistance.  Without the combined assistance from all, I'm unsure if this would have been as inspirational and awe inspiring as it was today.  Another thanks goes out to the American Legion in town who then invited all involved to join them at the Legion for a provide lunch.

Pfc James J. Arellano, your watch is finished, stand down.  God bless you as you now keep watch over your family and your military from above at your new post.  You are a hero in the eyes of all.
