I'm there.  Matt, are we going to meet somewhere and show up as a group?  Or just all meet at the church?

I will be reconning the area for parking/meeting at/near the church.  The address for the Church is 2107 Capital Avenue.  Since it is the vicinity of a federal building, parking may be at a premium.

This mission will be a quick round trip for me, taking this day off will already cause enough of a stir at work. I'm calling it a Mental Health day after this 90 hour work week.

Dave's asked me to be the Ride Captain lead if he can't make it. We'll follow his staging time of 0530 but because of the events pending in Cheyenne, our KSU (Kickstands Up) will be 0545 (5:45 pm). Plan on pulling off the "I" to join up with Grumpy and the Denver contingent at the Cracker Barrel at 120th Street on the north side of Denver.  We'll refuel at a gas station next to or near the Cracker Barrel before we join Grumpy's contingent.  That's so we won't delay the 0800 Denver departure time. If you don't need to refuel, stay with our group until we've entered the gas station to avoid the chance of accidents. Then proceed to the Cracker Barrel lot.
See you at Denny's.

Pfc Arrelano is home in Cheyenne.  Thanks to all who escorted him home.  Grumpy, thanks for leading your group as far as y'all did.  Your efforts to get this soldier home were not unappreciated.  I hope you folks have a safe journey back home.

To the Wyoming folks who continued along with him on his journey, again, a big Thank You.

A note to all, when the Colorado folks say you may need your wet gear, pack it.  I only got wetter when I finally hit the hot shower upon getting home.

I will try to find a staging area, and parking at the Church for Tuesdays services.

Wish I could have made the ride, but did not get off from work till after 1700.

Thanks for escorting him home.

What funeral home is he at & do you have any idea about visiting hours?

Muttman, why not use the old Railroad depo parking lot for a staging area, it's not very far from the Church and should be rather easy to find for those comming from out of town.

I'm not sure what you want as far as parking around the Church for the service itself. Let me know and I can scout it out for ya Sat or Sunday.

My name is Mike Langley and my daughter is Jaime Arellano, James was my son-in -law.  We picked up James today at DIA and were floored to see you all there to help us bring James home.  We are sorry for the group that got drench near Loveland.  My wife and daughter were very worried about you when the storm hit.  Please let us know that all of you are OK.  We made it through the storm and were picked up just north of Ft. Collins.  We were escorted all the way to the funeral home.  If nothing else is done for us be it known to all who read this:  You have been called our Gaurdian Angels.  Evey time my wife looked behind us it made her cry.  Even if we never know all of you by name you will always be in our's and James' heart.  You have contributed more than we can say to making this easier on us.  More later and see you Tuesday.

With the deepest thanks,
Mike Langley

I was in a cage/car with the group. I just came back home. They tried to ride, but the rain was like a wall and they didn't see much - all came prepared with the rain gear. We made it to Ft. Collins and were able to confirm that the group from WY find you and took over. We decided to get some coffee and go back. Everybody from our group made back to Denver safe - maybe a little wet :-)
It was the honor to escort James back to you.
