I regret that I will be unable to attend this mission. I'm retiring from work this Thursday.:-) My luncheon is Tuesday.

I do apologize.

Listen up Folks, we need the very best turnout that we can muster for this mission tomorrow. Although the weather is miserable tonight, it is supposed to ease up somewhat in the morning. Remember, it doesn’t matter what you ride as long as you show respect for the fallen warriors. Cars and trucks get us there just as well as the bikes do. Even I am going to cage it tomorrow. Bring family and friends and FLAGS with you, so we may have an impressive presence. Thanks to everyone of you for your support of our cause.

TRAVEL SAFELY BROTHERS AND SISTERS,

JACK

A big "THANK YOU" to all who were able to attend today’s mission for Pvt. Joseph R. Blake. What looked like it would be a wet day turned out well and the sun peeked through in time for the procession to the cemetery. Thank you Mr and Mrs Blake for inviting us into your lives to honor your son and to show you and the world our gratitude for his sacrifice for our country. Thank you to the Police Departments of Northville Township and Livonia for your services to the family and your cooperation with the PGR. Thank you to the R.G and G.R Harris Funeral home for all of your cooperation. Thank you to my Co-Ride Captains on this mission, Zach "Thor" Chandler and Jim "JimmyK" Kehres for all your help, to our State Captain Larry "Grumpy" Helser , and all the other Ride Captains that were in attendance. Thank you all for pitching in to help out today. You are a great bunch of people and I love you all. Thor, an extra Thanks to you for completing the presentation of the PGR plaque to Mr and Mrs Blake after I fell apart . I thought I could do the job until I started reading the plaque. I hope everyone got home safely and that you think this mission went smoothly. As I mentioned in the Mission Briefing, no plans are ever set until AFTER they are completed. The exit route from the church was changed several times today before we finally got late word on where we should be. Thank you to "The Chuckwagon Gang", JJ, Judy, JJ’s friend whose name I don’t know but should, Kathy, Janis, and Terry for providing us with coffee, snacks, and water, You ladies are Angels! I will have something for all of you in couple of weeks. If any PGR members have any questions or if you have suggestions that might make our missions better, please send me an EMAIL. Thanks to the Teamster Horsemen for leading the procession to the cemetery and thanks to our riders who volunteered to ride when we got the last minute request. You guys are great! I’m wearing out the words "Thank You" but thanks again for honoring another fallen American Warrior.

RIDE SAFE BROTHERS AND SISTERS,

JACK

I feel so humbled when the family makes the effort to thank US for our support. What irony. Having just lost their most precious possession on earth, they allow us to show our appreciation for their sacrifice. I start out so strong on these missions, only to weaken as each mourner passes by us. The acknowledgements of the family, friends, and attending servicemen, refuels my spirit and allows me to carry on. In our small contribution today, I hope we were able to ease the pain somewhat, for the family and friends of Pvt. Blake.
