Regrettably, I cannot make this mission as the first two weeks of the college's school year mandate that I be at work. Please carry my love for the family in your vest pocket next week.

I work very near the staging area. I leave from Howell no later than 0530 because the traffic is so damn bad if i cross 96/23 at 0600 or later. Keep this in mind. I see a few people riding their bikes to work and people have NO RESPECT in the morning. Tailgating motorcycles is a big no-no in my book. I know many people come from far away, but i personally would take as little x-way as possible. Too many A-Holes.

The Citadel Prayer

Almighty God, the source of light and strength, we implore Thy blessing on this our beloved institution, that it may continue true to its high purposes.
Guide and strengthen those upon whom rests the authority of government; enlighten with wisdom those who teach and those who learn; and grant to all of us that through sound learning and firm leadership, we may prove ourselves worthy citizens of our country, devoted to truth, given to unselfish service, loyal to every obligation of life and above all to Thee.

Preserve us faithful to the ideals of The Citadel, sincere in fellowship, unswerving in duty, finding joy in purity, and confidence through a steadfast faith.

Grant to each one of us, in his (her) own life, a humble heart, a steadfast purpose, and a joyful hope, with a readiness to endure hardship and suffer if need be, that truth may prevail among us and that Thy will may be done on earth. *Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Kathy and Cobalt...

I figure if we left the McDonalds at Haas and Telegraph, in the North Heights, not the 50's McDonalds in the south, at 7:00 a.m., we should have plenty of time to make muster by 7:30.

I will e-mail you my work number...

Scott,

That sounds like a good plan to me. We will be able to make it no problem by then. I talked to Jerry today and it looks like he is going to be able to make the ride with us. I'll shoot you an e-mail with my work # and work e-mail since I cannot access my home e-mail from here. Thanks for coordinating everything. If anyone else would like to join us, please feel free. Given the fact that it's going to rain and it's a weekday, I would like to get as many supporters as we can to show them our gratitude.

I'd propose to make the muster at McDonalds on Haas and Telegraph at 7:30?

Agreed?
