| This was my second mission. Standing in the flag line at the funeral home several times I had to fight back tears as people walked by and said "thank you for being here". Rest in peace Ron. God Bless you and your family. |

Sorry I could not make this one, cancer is giving me trouble again. Rest in peace Ronald E. Carlson.

It was a very good turn out for the short notice, I agree with most that sometimes the short notice gets us up and off our butts quicker. Denise and I were honored to ride with you and pay our respects to the family and to Ron on his final journey.
Lunch was very good and getting to meet some of the family was nice. This was the smallest mission we have been on and I really think that the closeness to the events going on hits you a little more about the true loss and the grief that the family and firends are dealing with.
Thanks Cowboy for a well done mission.

Thanks to all could make it on short notice. We had a nice turnout with appox. 25 bikes, two cages, and 30 people. Several comments we made all very positive. The family wanted and appreicated our presence. Those that went to the church afterwards were treated a feast of home cooking Western Ill. style. Thanks Preacherman for making the trip across the creek, we appreciated it. We had about one half mile of gravel but was a nice ride. Thanks to everyone, we rode with respect for this friend, brother, and the community. Thank you Jody for allowing to be there to honor our hero. Mission Complete!
