Our prayers and deepest sympathy for a fellow DUSTOFFER. Though I don't know him, personally, he is a family member to me since I served proudly in the 82nd Medical Detachment from Ft. Riley, KS as a flight medic 1990-1993 (including Desert Shield/Storm).

I will make every attempt to be present at the escort from Lambert Field to Granite City on the 16th.

To my brother who served proudly and gave all for present and future generations... 'Go rest high on that mountain'!

To his family, no matter what your opinions may be of this war, the military, or his decision to serve, know this... To those of us who served and and thousands who didn't, he is a hero and our respect and admiration go with him and his memory! What part he has played is greater than you may realize. Thank you for your sacrifice, it will not go unrewarded.

May God bless and comfort you in this time of sorrow!

My sincerest condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of viewing the 82nd practice their hover and dustoff techniques at Ft. Riley in 2003 while mobilized.  Very professional group. They assisted our unit in providing realistic training to units that were on their way over for the first time.  It was comforting know that there were a group of folks who would risk their necks to get you out if need be...

Are there any riders that will be assembling in the Ballwin, Manchester, or West county locations so a formation ride can assemble prior to going to Lambert or Granite?

Please advise.
