Greetings & Salutations,
Mitchell Judge, son of Navy Veteran, Construction Mechanic, Petty Officer Second Class (CM2) William “Bill” Judge Jr., USN (Navy Seabee from 1977 thru 1982), on behalf of the Judge family has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Escort his father’s remains at a date to be determined in the very near future. Memorial Services will be held as annotated (below), and when arrangements are finalized, the family will follow up with dates and times for the PGR mission from the funeral home to his final resting place.
Please Follow this Confirmed Mission thread for further amplifying information.
On behalf of the Patriot Guard Riders, nationwide, I’ve conveyed our collective prayers and condolences to the Judge Family for their family’s loss, and have assured them the Patriot Guard Riders will ensure their request to Escort and honor their father, A Cold War Vet… will be carried out. Petty Officer Judge, I salute your service to our country, your contributions as a “Seabee” “To Build, To Fight” and the “Can Do!” Spirit that has been the Navy Seabee’s hallmark since their inception in 1941, shortly after Pearl Harbor.
William Judge was a resident of Moyock, NC (just across the VA state line); Funeral arrangements are being completed in Virginia Beach, VA. After discussing options with Virginia State Captain, FrankB, I’d recommend this mission carry Duel North Carolina / Virginia tasking. I look forward working this the NE North Carolina Ride Captain, “Mistress,” provided she’s available.
Regards,
Woody Wagner

Please extend our condolences to the family and friends of Petty Officer Judge.
I suspect that our Lord called him home because of a Heavenly construction job that only a SeeBee could handle.

Bill – You are a Hero
AMERICA loves you We thank you for your work You're one BIG SOLDIER in our eyes
For the duty you never shirked.
When we thank GOD for our freedom
It is you who will come to mind We will ask a special blessing
On the family and friends you left behind
A Veteran hero walked the golden stairs To a mansion in the sky I wonder if he looked back to earth And whispered "America Please Don't Cry"
I only did what I had to do I fought to keep you free And if you really want to There's something you can do for me.
The favor that I'm asking Please keep all our soldier’s in your prayers It will make my leaving easier Just knowing that as a Nation you'll be there.
Honoring our soldiers
No matter where or when they served
Giving them the thanks when due
And showing the respect that is so richly deserved.

I would be honored to be included in this ride. I do not have my bike yet, I do have my own gear. If anyone would be willing to ride 2up please contact me. Patriotism is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.
