Stephen was born on July 11, 1947 and entered into rest on July 17, 2006. Stephen served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. His mortal remains were laid to rest today at the Northern California Veterans Cemetery, in Igo, California.

This was a short notice mission, having been contacted by Stephen's brother-in-law Bob Delaune, at 3:30 pm Tuesday afternoon.

Being such short notice, I was overwhelmed this morning as I pulled into the Convention Center for our staging. When we departed for McDonald's Chapel, we had a total of 20 riders and 3 support vehicles. My heart swelled at the dedication of our members here in northern California, after our difficult mission in Red Bluff on Sunday. Thank you, all, for assisting in providing Stephen an honorable and respectful final journey.
