Great! Another parade....and I mean that in a good way. The Moxie Fest parade was a blast! What really made it special was watching the folks stand and applaud as we rode by. Anyway, that was then, this is now.....
Unfortunately I will be unable to attend....wish that I could. However, I'm sure we would have a number of members who would normally meet at the staging area at the Augusta Civic Center ready to join forces and ride to Yarmouth. Who amoungst the group would be willing to organize the Civic Center staging area and lead the group safely to Yarmouth? Swaybar? Pushboats? Sargie? JHarley? Bongo? Whew! That's all the names that pop into my little mind at the moment. You know who you are.
Christine, good luck with the parade. Wish I could be there. I'll be on an adventure in Canada.

Yeah right you wish you could be there. Your going to be riding around in Canada enjoying yourself.
The Parade Route is 1.3 miles long and looks to be pretty straight forward.
Steve is going to do a drive around and find us a place to stage prior to going to the parade staging. Once we know more about that then we will be all ready to go. |

Yeah, but I'd much rather be in Yarmouth enjoying the people, the eats and your company. Oh well, guess I'll have to suffer through my Canoodian adventure somehow.
How about having the initial staging area just off of the interstate at the information area in Yarmouth? Easy to get to whether you are heading North or South. Just an idea. I remember I was contemplating that area as a staging area for the Damon mission until someone mentioned the Hannaford parkinglot. Course there is always Freeport just up the road. Loads of large parkinglots there. You could then ride route 1 to Yarmouth.
Just some ideas ramblin through my head........

Hi all I'm trying to get up the courage to ride with all you experienced riders suggestions would be greatly appreciated, the distance ones scare me - I know I'm not ready for that and the last ride in the rain Christine took my bike away and loaded it on a truck!!! But I need some group riding experience and time. So brake me or break me in whatever seems appropriate!!! lol coyote(machinegun's mate) also what is the best way to get a flag attached to your bike?????? |

Cruizer here. I'd still like an opportunity to adjust your scoot for you if it hasn't been done by the dealership yet. Adjusting your levers, and foot brake & shifter can make the bike fit you to a Tee. It would only take a few minutes and would make your riding so much more comfortable and safe. I'll be home all day tomorrow if you feel like taking a short ride to Augusta. Then after I'm done, maybe I can take you for a short ride around and demonstrate some of the basic points of group riding for you. Drop me a line if you're interested.........can't find your telephone number. I had it once upon a time.
