My son, a junior high student here in northeast Oklahoma, said that one of his teachers left school early today.  He was told that her son was killed in Iraq.

I'll watch  and listen and post anything I find out.  Just wanted to let others know to be on the alert as well.

I've not received anything on this, but I'll keep my eyes open. What town are we talking about?

In the end, we remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

We live in Pryor.

Looks as though I posted this in the wrong forum.  Can it be moved?

Scott,

Sorry to hear that.  Keep us posted as soon as you find out.

Glad to see you over here.  Sorry you couldn't make the ride for PFC Travis Grigg in Inola last Sat.

I would be more inclined to think he was hurt.  If he was KiA - they would not have called her at work they would have waited at her home until she got home from what I have heard.  There are still several Army fatalities that have not been announced, but we know when some are killed multiples more are hurt.

How about some good news!

My son came home today saying that his teacher was back in class today with the report that her son was alive.
