As most of you know, I'm filling in for Copper (SC) while he's on vacation. This is my last day of school so I've asked BadDog (our former State Captain) to make the calls this morning. One of us will post later when we have more info.

See http://www.krem.com/topstories/stories/krem2_061906_rotckilled.a1840d67.html.  Apparently the service for 1st. Lt. Ewens is in Gig Harbor tomorrow.  Maybe the news station can give you more info.

There will be a memorial service tomorrow at 11am outside Cowles Auditorium on the Whitworth campus. Another memorial is planned for Thursday in Gig Harbor, where Ewens' family now lives.

I'm in the process of contacting an LT that should have exact information.  I have 3 numbers to reach him at, and as soon as I do reach him, I'll post the info here.  I'll try all numbers every 30 minutes or so.

Any word on family invitation yet?  I will be coming from work in Seattle if we get the invite.  We might want to start looking at some staging areas.
