Mission Plan to honor Sgt. Koch

June 26, 2006

7:30 AM         Staging area opens:

                       Redwood Area Community Center

                       901 Cook Street

                       Redwood Falls, MN 56283

When you get to the staging area, be sure to have enough fuel in your tanks to ride an additional 100 miles.  There are several gas stations in Redwood Falls with high-octane gas.

8:10 AM          Minnesota PGR Ride Captains will conduct the mission briefing.

8:30 AM          Depart the staging area for the funeral services in Morgan, MN

Length of ride is 13 miles.

We will have a police escort.  Use standard staggered riding formation.

9:00 AM          Arrive at Cedar Mtn. High School, Morgan, MN

                        Assemble flags and stand guard.

10:00 AM        Funeral services begin.

11:00 AM        Funeral services conclude. PGR will stand guard until the reception starts in the
                        high school.

11:05 AM        There will be a short reception for the service attendees.  During this time, we
will take down and secure our flags, and prepare to ride to the cemetery.

11:30 AM (est.) The PGR will accompany the funeral procession to the cemetery for the internment services in Trimont, MN.  This is a ride of approximately 54 miles.  Please consider this as an optional part of the mission.  Trimont is about 8 miles north of Sherburn, MN and I-90.

1:00 AM  (est.) Arrive at the cemetery in Trimont, MN.  PGR members will quickly assemble their flags, and stand guard over the internment services.

2:00 AM (est.) The formal PGR mission will be competed when the internment services conclude.

As with all PGR missions, be prepared to be self sufficient for the day.  Bring food and water, dress for the conditions, and ride safely.

Although the family has not released their itinerary for the funeral services for their son, for now assume this in your planning for this mission:

Date of Service:  Monday, June 26,2006
Location of staging area:  Redwood Falls, MN
Staging area opens at:  7:30AM
Pre ride briefing at: 8:10AM
Depart the staging area at 8:30AM

All of this is subject to change as conditions on the ground change.  I just wanted to get this out before the start of weekend.

When we get a confirmed, announced date and time for the services, I will post the complete mission plan with complete details.

As with all Minnesota PGR missions, any one is welcome to attend this mission from any state, no need to ask permissions etc.  All riders will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability prior to leaving the staging area in Redwood Falls.

Minnesota State Ride Captain

There will be a prayer service for Spc.Brent Koch in Redwood Falls, MN on Saturday at 7:00PM at the Redwood Falls National Guard Armory.

This prayer service is not a PGR mission, but is open to the public.

There is no PGR mission on Saturday.

Funeral arrangements are still pending. When those arrangements are finalized we will be able to publish the mission plan.

In the deepest part of every true patriots heart, is a pure positive energy that so truly desires to let the family know that their loss is also our loss. I know this is not always something that can be explained by a few simple written words.
With the deepest regret, I openly shed a tear with you, my heart aches feeling an aching void is truly in honor felt. It will be an honor and privilege for the Trophy Club Texas Bikers to stand silent and mourn in silence even at a distance from the state of Texas and continue to show our support to a heart broken family, state and nation.
