17 Jun 2006 6:19 AM Alert
There is a Viet Nam Wall in Windsor Ontario. It has a list of the fallen and MIA Canadians.
Every year they do the Run to the North Wall.

I will be posting as much info as i can get on this run over the next day or so, so that if anyone can make the run they have the info.

This is a worthy cause to remember those who crossed the line and stood with their brothers for what they believed to be the right thing to do. The men and women who crossed the line to join with their American friends became criminals in Canada at the time due to Canadian laws.

I have also asked a friend from Michigan to post his info on this as well as they are going to stage in Detroit and make the run with a few veterans groups as well as some PGR members.

Here is the link for the North Wall and some preliminary info:

The staging location for the 11th annual "Run to the North Wall" has changed. Instead of meeting at St. Clair College, the congregation will meet on Sunday, July 2nd at 10:00am at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 594 located at 3920 Huron Church (Huron Line)? The Run leaves at 11:30am sharp! Windsor, Ontario.

Following the Run and a brief ceremony at the Canadian Vietnam Veterans Memorial, an Open House and BBQ is planned at RCL Branch 143 on Wyandotte Street and everyone is welcome. Windsor, Ontario.

If some of the veterans groups have more info or are going to do this run from the states. Please post any info here so that others may join in.

Thank you.

The red poppy is an international rememberance of all fallen soldiers. It is worn proudly to remember those who have gone before me. Lest we forget, lest we forget.
