Thank you for your mission and supporting the Meeks family. Sgt Meeks was my son Michael's best friend and they served in the same unit together. He stood in Michael's wedding last year and I met both him and his wife.
It has been a very difficult time for Sgt Meeks's family and for my son and family. As an U.S. Army veteran I am truly grateful that the Patriot Guard is here for the famlies of our fallen soldiers.

Sgt Meeks has an internment /procession time of 1500 on the 19th.  I am the coordinator for the helicopter fly over on that date/time.  Arlington has been very busy with traffic lately and RECOMMEND that you meet NLT 1430 in the Pentagon North Parking near the on ramp to move to the funeral procession area near the Arlington Administration Building.  I do not know if this has a church service associated with it.  If it does, back the time up by an hour to 1330.

Thanks Gary M. One more favor, Lt Scott M Love is also scheduled for internment at ANC on the 19th, reportedly 15:45. Any chance that you could confirm his arrangements would be appreciated and also post on his thread.

Thanks again.

Dave, I plan to hit the Md border around 10:00, give or take, and will be running down 95 from above Philly. That will give me another hour or so before I need to refuel and break. Let me know if you are going and good luck.

My 14 yr old son's first mission.  By the lump in his throat and the tears in his eyes, he gets it.  Sgt Meeks, Rest In Peace.  To your family and friends, thank you so much for allowing our family to be there.
