What a sad world it is that we live in when a soldier risks his life to protect us; only to have that life taken from him by one of those he had committed himself to defend...especially for something so material and insignificant as a set of wheels.

It is truly an example of how selfless and honorable the committment of a soldier really is, that he would risk his life to protect and defend those who would never do the same for him.

Brother,  your loss will be felt deeply within my heart and soul.  Pratt Family know that the Mess will never forget Kameron's service to his country and his family.  CPO Pratt you stand relieved, myself and our brothers/sisters have the watch.  Fair winds and following seas on your journey to heaven.

HERO
Hero, we honor thee,
keeping safe your memory

I pray that our heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom. Navy Chiefs are a special breed. How many times at sea when we had a difficult problem we could always say ". . .let's go ask the Chief" and get the help we needed. Now his family needs our aid and comfort.

I regret I cannot attend this Mission, but my heart wil be with those that can. I cannot imagine the grief felt by his family and friends because of a criminal who wanted a ride. I can only hope the perp is caught and punished well beyond the laws limits!

Chief Petty Officer Kameron Pratt is in the arms of an angel now, God Bless his loved ones and may the Good Lord comfort them in this time of need.

Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

I've seen at least two posts by individuals who would like to attend this Mission to pay their respects to another Fallen Texas Hero. If any of you DFW area members plan on caging it to this Mission and wouldn't mind some company, post here and let's see if we can help out.

If any of you new members haven't been added to a regional email list for the Ride Captain/Contact Coordinator in your area, send me an email with your information (name, location, email address) and I'll get it forwarded to your RC/CC asap.

Thank you to everyone that's planning on attending this Mission. Those who can't attend, please keep this man and his family in your prayers. And it wouldn't hurt to throw in a few good words for the members that are going to brave the heat to attend.

Thank you

Has there been any updates to the time and location yet? I am planning on taking friday off (if possible) to make this mission. Still looking/waiting for the details.

Thanks.
