Parking may be tight since they (Church, Family and Police) are expecting 3,000 to 5,000 visitors for Sgt Smykowski...For those who are planning on attending, if you could drop me a short note (CaptBurtt@yahoo.com) with a count of the number of bikes / cars it would assist in ensuring we have room or need to make additional arrangements....

Thanks

I may be able to make it after the viewing hours and stay through the service. My expected arrival would be around 1800 hrs. I definitely can't be there at the staging time of 1300 hrs. Is this acceptable?

kburtt,
I will be there.
Just a note though, Your directions from the east say to turn right at SR 91. I beleive you will need to turn left to get to route 6 and vice versa coming from the west.

The best way to find any stage point or location of services is to plug in your address and the destination address and use Mapquest, an online route planner, or a better one yet is Microsoft Streets and Trips program.  The Microsoft Program is great for saving, planning, and cost analyzing a trip.  It is fairly inexpensive at under $30.  I am finding it a necessity.

More often than not, the Ride Captains will provide these destination addresses for you, if not, contact them via the web e-mail service by clicking on their username in the left hand column under "Author" on a thread page.  On their personal page in the upper right hand corner it says "Click Here to E-mail"  Simply click there and type in your message.  These messages are private and are not posted on the forum.

I will have the opportunity to be honored by standing for Sgt. Smykowski this day.  May his family feel our love and support.

Success comes in CANS, not in CAN'TS.

If you are attending and traveling from the West on 90, once you exit at 189 you need to make a LEFT as 100VRIDER pointed out...South on State Route 91...My error...

Thanks,

In the deepest part of every true patriots heart, is a pure positive energy that so truly desires to let the family know that their loss is also our loss. I know this is not always something that can be explained by a few simple written words.
With the deepest regret, I openly shed a tear with you, my heart aches feeling an aching void is truly in honor felt. It will be an honor and privilege for the Trophy Club Texas Bikers to stand silent and mourn in silence even at a distance from the state of Texas and continue to show our support to a heart broken family, state and nation.
